We are one of the recognized organizations engaged in offering superior quality Wear Resistant Xar 500 Steels. This material specification applies to 3mm to 100mm thick plates of the wear resistant special structural steel XAR®500. The steel has a fine-grained micro structure. Nitrogen is absorbed in order to form nitrides by means of Al and, where applicable, Ti. The steel may contain up to 1.5 % Ni.
Delivery Condition: Quenched or quenched and tempered (see ‘Heat Treatment’). Hardness at Room Temperature: In the delivery condition: 450-530 HB. The Brinell hardness shall be determined in accordance with ISO 6506.
